About the Founder – Sanjeev Katyal
Founder & CEO
With over two decades in the food industry, Sanjeev has been part of iconic journeys—from helping launch McDonald’s India as Brand Director, to leading the turnaround of Barista Coffee Company as CEO, and scaling international brands like 12 Cupcakes (Singapore) and Uno’s Chicago Grill (USA)
Despite the rapid growth of India’s QSR space, something still felt missing. There wasn’t a brand that truly celebrated bold global and local flavors, paired with top-quality ingredients—especially in the premium seafood and chicken category—in a way that felt both exciting and affordable
Backed by a parent company deeply rooted in aquaculture—with multiple shrimp hatcheries and decades of expertise in shrimp farming and processing—we had the foundation to build something remarkable
That’s how the award-winning Captain Shrimp, India’s bold new chicken and seafood QSR chain, was born
About Infini Foods
Infini Foods has been conceived with an intention to establish a food company with a global network to provide wholesome, fresh, safe nutritious frozen, Ready to Cook & Ready to Eat food products. The Promoters & stakeholders have in depth Experience & Expertise in all the verticals of shrimp aquaculture covering Shrimp hatcheries, Farming, processing & value addition. The promoter group is a pioneer in aquaculture sector with 11 shrimp hatcheries, employing over 700 employees.
